Izzy Pingrey

At just 19 years old, New York City native Izzy Pingrey is using music as a diary to document her coming-of-age journey in real time. She first picked up songwriting at 13 during the loneliness of pandemic lockdowns, using it as an emotional outlet. Now a college student, Izzy’s confessional lyrics and energetic sound provide a vulnerable lens into the revelations and relationships of adolescence.

Izzy’s debut EP, junior, was well received on Spotify and YouTube and propelled a sold out show in New York City in March 2024. Her new release, “opposite in love,” is a nostalgic indie pop banger with a raw backstory about the trials of female friendship. Its upbeat vibe and honest lyrics make it anything from the perfect car jam to shower song. “opposite in love” is the first single off Izzy’s upcoming EP, maturing her indie rock sound as she works through the college years.
